How does foreskin restoration work?
By applying tension to tissue for a decent amount of time it triggers a cellular process called mitosis so that new skin cells form. This way, new skin cells is produced and will after a period of time start covering the head of the glans, just like a normal foreskin works. It’s very hard to see a difference between an intact penis and a circumcised male that has restored their foreskin completely. The nerve endings that you have left in the penile skin will be distributed along the new foreskin that you recreate, and the foreskin will work and feel like much like an intact foreskin.
Is foreskin restoration something new?
Foreskin restoration is not anything new. The Bible's first Maccabees 1:15 tells us about the Jews who wanted to be assimilated after Alexander's expansion of Greek culture with its ideals of naked gymnasts. “They disguised their circumcision and abandoned the holy covenant; they allied themselves with the gentiles and sold themselves to wrongdoing. ”It is believed that circumcision back then often left remnants of foreskin that could be stretched, for example with weights (pondus judaeus). And throughout history, various methods have been tried to restore what has been cut off to some extent.
Why should I restore my foreskin?
- Your glans and inner foreskin will be moist and sensitive, and the sensation of your restored foreskin will feel almost exactly like it would if you were intact.
- With a foreskin, there is no need for using lubricants anymore when masturbating or getting a handjob because you get the gliding movement from the foreskin.
- Restoration will decrease the risk of your partners suffering from soreness.
- You will lessen the chance of suffering from erectile dysfunction caused by sensation loss.
- You will belong to the majority of all men in the world (70% uncircumcised), just like nature intended us to be: perfect and intact.
Can you please explain those claims?
When a penis for a foreskin enters the vagin*, the foreskin is pulled back. And on its way out again, the foreskin goes back to cover the penis head, what is known as “the gliding movement”. When a penis without foreskin moves in and out of a woman without the “gliding movement” it can have a painful effect on the woman’s mucous membrane. This can explain the pain and the tendency towards dryness that some women with circumcised men experience.
With a foreskin, you can say goodbye to the soreness that your partners could be experiencing from your penis.
A study published in the International Journal of Men's Health showed that circumcised men have a 4.5 times greater chance of suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED) than intact men.
As we get older, slowly our genitals become successively less sensitive. If you are circumcised and obviously already lack sensitivity, you will almost have a totally numb penis.
Some men who have restored at age 50+ say their sexlife has gotten better than when they were in their 20:s.
Vårdförbundet (the Swedish Association of Health Professionals) states that a circumcised penis becomes less sensitive to stimuli, partly due to the fact that sensitive skin is cut off during the procedure. As the glans is exposed to abrasion from clothing and skin after the procedure, the skin hardens and becomes coarser (keratinization) and even more sensitivity is lost, and in some cases the ability to experience org*sm is lost.
After circumcision, over a period of time, the glans and what inner foreskin tissue is left and the scar line becomes rough and dries out so that the nerve endings you have left are hidden. By restoring a foreskin, the dried out hard layer disappears and those hidden nerve activates again. In restoration communities, men circumcised in their adult ages and later restored their foreskin report they have gained up to 80% of their sensitivity thanks to the inner foreskin being covered and moist, and as the glans dekreatinized which will result in a sensitive, moist and supple glans. We will never be able to grow back the nerve endings lost during circumcision, but that doesn't mean your new restored foreskin will be lacking sensation.
Tissue expansion has long been known to stimulate mitosis, and research shows that regenerated human tissues have the attributes of the original tissue.
How long will it take to restore my foreskin?
Based on how much skin you start with and how consistent you are, and what goal you have, it can take anywhere from 1,5 - 5 years to reach full flaccid coverage. But you will clearly notice an improvement in sensation behind your glans within months.
Healthy living and consistency will speed up restoration progress. Of course you can take some day off as a break, but we recommend an overall consistency of at least 5 days a week and 6 hours a day (the more the better). It is also recommended to do manual methods in shower.
How do I know if your devices will fit my size?
We have put much thought into the sizing and thus start with a standard size. We believe it will work for about 85 percent of all individuals. If you are significantly bigger or smaller than average write to us instead of ordering. We will need your measurement before telling you if our devices might work for you. We are planning to release two additional sizes in the upcoming year. All the devices work well with 35 mm X 35 mm (+ - 2.5 mm). 1 3/8 inch X 1 3/8 inch (+ - 3/32 inch).
Which CI-number do I need to have to use Foreskinned Air device?
The device works if you are CI-2 or above. If you are CI-3 then it is really easy to use. Do not look at the picture if you are a minor (below 18). Take your own measurement after seeing the picture.
Glans size
We recommend using manual methods to increase the amount of slack skin if you dont have enough.
How do I clean my devices?
Soap and lukewarm water are sufficient. Or use alcohol 60-70% on a pad.
